Hitting the ground running for 2023

What can I say about 2022? It has been a very very hectic year with lots of projects all going on at the same time. It has barely stopped from one event to the next.

The biggest surprise was being out with Lite Alternative for the first time helping out on dimmers/distro for the UK tour of Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance. What was originally meant to be stepping in for five weeks turned into doing the whole UK tour for three months.

Various corporate work stated coming in from various companies as well as programming for two tours later in the year with Arena for the first time with Frost*. Big thanks to Lights Control Rigging for help on that one, and looking forward to working with them this month with Pendragon.

I’ve given the website a little bit of a revamp, but I’m hoping to get some more things updated soon now that things are ramping up properly for the first time.

Since lockdown there has been a really large uptake in work, but a lot of that is due to events playing catchup, and having twice the work with half the people to do it. This is primarily due to industry professionals either leaving the industry, or in some unfortunate cases passing away.

Here’s hoping that we can all make ends meet, and keep riding the wave as things start returning to normal.

I have made a few additions to my equipent as well:

– Eurolite CBB-2 Led floods
– Eurolite CBB-4 Led Floods
– Obsidian NX1 Lighting Console
– Obsidian NX-P Playback wing and NX-K keypad
– Smokefactory Tourhazer
– Martin/Obsidian M2GO + Touchscreen

If you would like to consider hiring any of these, please feel free to get in touch.
